How long have you been in business at you CURRENT location?

We have been at our current locations for over 15 years. We have been in East Sacramento for over 26 years.

What are your school’s hours?

Our school hours are from 4:30 to 7:30 Monday - Friday and from 8:00am until 12:30pm on Saturdays. We do offer noon classes but they are by per-registration only.

What are your rates & fees?

Traditional martial arts classes: $139.00, 2nd Family Member $70, 3rd or more $35 each. Cardio Kickboxing Fitness: $75.00 2nd or more $35.00 each. $35.00 to add Cardio Kickboxing fitness to regular classes. Self Defense seminars: $40.00 per person 5 person minimum. 10 or more participants $30.00 per person. These classes are 2 hours long. Girl Scout seminars $10.00 per girl. Also 10 dollars per child for children's seminars. Ages 6-12.

Am I required to sign a contract?

We do not do contracts.

What qualifications do your instructors have? Do volunteers help teach classes? What are their qualifications?

All of our instructors have at least a black belt ranking and have assisted in many classes before running one on their own. We do have leadership people assist in teaching classes. They go through our Dragon Fire Martial Arts Leadership Skills program.

HOW do you teach the things you claim to teach, especially things like life skills and good values?

This is done in many ways. We do mat chats about all subjects. We do school community services projects. We talk about and encourage volunteering at outside organizations. We acknowledge our students for accomplishment such as being named a kindness ambassador at their schools. We require community service projects to be on our leadership team. Testing helps build self confidence and transfers over to their everyday activities. We encourage our student to take what the learn in the dojang out into the worlds.

How many locations do you have?

We currently have 2 locations. East Sacramento and we also teach a program out of the South Natomas Community Center.

Can we try a class or two before joining?

Why should I train in the martial arts?

There are many benefits that come from training in the martial arts. Self defense skills, cardio conditioning, fitness, self confidence, stress reduction and exercise helps to control many chronic illnesses such as high blood pressure, diabetes and depression.
